A Gauteng man murdered his girlfriend at a bar and later posted a chilling confession on social media. This is the second gruesome incident this year in which the man confessed on social media after killing his lover.
Chilling Details Emerge from Tavern Incident
The alleged attack is said to have occurred at a popular Maubane tavern. According to initial reports, the suspect suspected Kgaogelo of cheating on him.

In what appears to be a moment of rage, he slashed her throat multiple times with a blade and posted a video showing her covered in blood, cursing her as she took her last breath. The footage, later posted to Facebook, showed the victim and featured Ngwenya making inflammatory statements. Although the video was swiftly deleted, it had already been seen by numerous people.
Social Media Used for Bizarre Public Confession
In a bizarre and horrifying twist, Ngwenya then allegedly transitioned to another platform, TikTok. There, he is accused of uploading a follow-up video in which he openly admitted to carrying out the lethal assault.
This act of publicly confessing to a violent crime on social media has added a deeply unsettling digital dimension to the tragedy, raising serious questions about the intersection of technology and criminal behaviour.
