In the video, a boy and girl, dressed in school uniforms, are seen openly kissing in the middle of a street, unfazed by the attention they’re drawing. A man, sitting in his car from across the street, records the young couple. The teens remain unbothered by what many would consider a private moment until the man hurls insults at them, telling them to “go to school.” Embarrassed, they quickly scatter, running off in different directions. Mzansi Outraged As School Kids Go Viral For Kissing in Public

Once the video was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @Am_Blujay, reactions poured in from all corners of Mzansi. Many condemned the teens for their public display of affection, while others praised the man for reprimanding the school kids for kissing in public. Others highlighted that such behaviour might stem from their exposure to adult content at home. Additionally, some argued that these incidents have occurred before but are now more visible due to smartphones and social media. Here are some of the comments:

@IamEriOluwa;

A good job. He did something that would remind those kids that what they did was wrong. They will think twice before acting so recklessly in public next time. Reminding kids that they are kids is the job of every responsible adult. That’s how we were raised. Let’s continue that.

@Brendahphillip:

when i see kids behaving like this, i won’t mind my own business.😂😂that man ascent, i don’t know what language he spoke, but i understood what he said

@Beflie10:

Consequences of sleeping at night watching all the soapies with their mothers.

@AbishaiSimari:

If they can do that publicly, imagine what they’re capable of behind closed doors.

@benardchunga19:

These things were even happening before,, it’s only that now the society is much aware cause of the cameras and the info really travel so quick
