Watch: Rosemary Ndlovu’s Cold Stare In Court Gives Mzansi Chills
Rosemary Ndlovu, the infamous Tembisa South policewoman turned serial killer, made another appearance at the Kempton Park Magistrates Court on Thursday, 6 July. This time, she stood alongside her co-accused, Nomusa Mudau, facing charges of conspiracy to commit another murder. Ndlovu, who has already been convicted of killing her lover and five family members, had her former colleague’s husband, Justice, on her hitlist.
According to Newzroom Afrika, Ndlovu appeared alone in the dock as Mudau was “too ill” to attend. Both of them pleaded “not guilty” to the charges. The case was adjourned to 12 July after Ndlovu gave chilling stares to the two witnesses, Nomusa’s husband Justice, and one of the hired hitmen, Jabulani Mtshali, in full view of the court.

Murders and ‘Hitlist’
Rosemary Ndlovu, a former Tembisa South policewoman, orchestrated the deaths of six people, including her partner Maurice Mabaso, through multiple fraudulent life insurance policies. In 2021, she received six concurrent life sentences for the murders of Mabaso and five family members, which included her sister, two nephews, a niece, and a cousin. Ndlovu was also sentenced to an additional 30 years for fraud and incitement to commit murder. She was convicted of the attempted murder of her mother, Maria Mushwana, her sister Joyce, and Joyce’s five children.
The police were alerted to Ndlovu’s crimes after her hired hitmen came forward with information. Investigating officer Sergeant Keshi Mabundla revealed that Ndlovu went on a killing spree from 2012 to 2018. Each family member had multiple insurance policies taken out in their names, with Ndlovu listed as the beneficiary. These policies were acquired just months before their brutal and mysterious murders.
While in prison, Ndlovu attempted to have Sergeant Mabundla and Colonel Nthipe L Boloka, her former station commander at Tembisa South police station, murdered, but the attempts were unsuccessful.
