In the ensuing chaos, Hassan threw the plastic bag containing the cash in an attempt to protect himself. Unfortunately, one of the bullets grazed his left side near the armpit, causing a minor injury. Police later recovered two cartridge casings from the scene.

The attackers, described only as two unidentified African males, fled on foot. Their identities remain unknown, and no FNB employees were harmed in the incident. Authorities are calling for anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
