A video footage showing a male Ghanaian pastor bathing female congregants in front of the whole church has sparked controversy on social media.

Controversial Ritual: Pastor Bathes Congregants for Spiritual Deliverance
The video clip was shared by Africa Archives on X. Africa Archives revealed that a Ghanaian pastor, whose identity is yet to be determined, was bathing his church members for the easy deliverance of the Holy Spirit.
In the video, the pastor can be seen bathing a female congregant who is seated in a metal dish in front of the entire congregation. Another man, possibly an assistant pastor, is seated nearby, watching as the pastor bathes the congregant.

She steps out of the dish and kneels next to the assistant pastor, who then lathers her body with oil.
The pastor proceeds to bathe another female congregant.

Social media users expressed shock and disbelief over the disturbing video. Many questioned why the pastor was only bathing female congregants. Netizens labelled him a predator and accused him of taking advantage of his female congregants.
