‘We made peace’ Mampintsha’s Sister Reveals She Is In Good Books With Babes Wodumo
Mampintsha’s sister Pinky Gumede has recently opened up about her life following the untimely passing of her mother and brother, as well as her relationship with her sister-in-law, Babes Wodumo. Pinky shared her thoughts in an interview with ZiMoja.
Pinky described the close bond between her brother and mother, emphasizing how much she misses her brother’s humor and her mother’s unwavering love and support. The tragic deaths have left a void in her life that is difficult to fill.
Mampintsha’s sister and Babes Wodumo Reconciliate
Before the passing of Mampintsha and Zamanguni, Pinky and her mother had a strained relationship with Babes Wodumo. However, during Mampintsha’s funeral, all grievances were set aside, and forgiveness was extended publicly. Unfortunately, after the funeral, tensions arose again when Babes Wodumo resumed her performances shortly after her husband’s death.

“We are all in the process of healing in our own ways, but we have made peace. Babes Wodumo will always be my sister-in-law. I am focused on healing and moving forward from the sudden loss of my brother and mother, which caught us all by surprise,” Pinky explained to ZiMoja.
Mampintsha’s Tragic Demise
Mampintsha, whose real name was Mandla Maphumulo, tragically passed away on December 24, 2022, after suffering a fatal stroke at Durdoc Hospital. His death has left his loved ones and fans devastated.
Recently, on Mampintsha’s first birthday since his passing, Babes Wodumo expressed her deep sorrow at not being able to celebrate the special day with him. She struggled to find the right words to wish their son, Sponge, a happy birthday without his father by his side.
“It took time for me to write something for you because today I am overwhelmed with mixed emotions. It’s your birthday today, and a part of me misses your dad because I know this day was his favorite… On this day, both of our lives changed forever,” Babes Wodumo shared.
