Why Nomzamo Mbatha Left USA Before The Release Of Coming To America 2
Recent reports from one, Kgopolo Phil Mphela, an entertainment commentator suggests that Nomzamo Mbatha is back again in SA for the shooting of an upcoming film, Hotel Hillbrow.

Mbatha to play the lead in the critically acclaimed Inxeba: The Wound co-writer Malusi S. Bengu’s directorial debut feature film titled Hotel Hillbrow.

The film is a directorial debut for Inxeba: The Wound co-writer, Malusi S. Bhengu. The film will be shot locally in SA and is to feature some prominent faces in the entertainment industry.
The death of Nomzamo Mbatha’s character in Isibaya earlier this year was one of the most emotional pieces that left her fans grabbing for their boxes of tissues after they witnessed their long-time fave leaving one of Mzansi’s most loved soapies.
She had chosen America over South Africa, reports claimed at the time. Nomzamo Mbatha was shooting for Coming To America 2 in the States and had to desert Isibaya.
She had she embarked on setting up a life for herself in the US and attend castings for Hollywood roles that included Coming To America 2 which is still yet to be released.
The fictional sequel that features Eddie Murphy and many other supporting casts like Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones, and Wesley Snipes has its release date set for December 18, however, in the light of the ongoing theatre closures, the movie’s future lies in limbo.
