A woman took to social media to share suspicions that her baby daddy killed their son inorder to spite her. In a chain of Instagram stories and screenshots she shares how news of her son’s death was delivered to her.
Confusion and Fear: Conflicting Information Adds to the Distress
As Lesego waited for updates from local authorities in Olifantsfontein, she decided to call nearby hospitals and emergency services. Yet, to her horror, she learned there were no recorded incidents of a near-drowning involving her son.
With rising panic, Lesego reached out again to Oberon, desperate for clarity. This time, the phone was passed around, first to a man named Vusi, who provided no useful information, and later to an individual identified as the Head of Security, who confirmed the devastating news—her son had passed away.

Pressure and Secrecy: Questions Surrounding the Funeral Arrangements
As if the tragedy wasn’t enough, Oberon soon began pressuring Lesego to plan their son’s funeral immediately, insisting on a rushed burial. He wanted the funeral to take place as early as the following day, a date that also happened to be his birthday.
Despite her grief, Lesego found this insistence troubling, especially since Oberon wanted her to arrive at his home alone and without her family. He had not even notified his own family of the child’s death, further intensifying Lesego’s doubts about his intentions.
Seeking Support and Answers: Family Involvement Ignites Suspicion
In a state of confusion and sorrow, Lesego contacted her sister and Oberon’s mother, who was completely unaware of the tragic events. Oberon’s insistence that she should be the only one to join him at the burial site heightened her suspicions.

He also tells her that she would not view her son’s dead body. The reluctance to provide clarity on her son’s last moments led Lesego to believe that Oberon and the two caretakers may be withholding crucial information about the circumstances surrounding her child’s death.
