Now that the lobola negotiations are over, Zahara and her fiancé Amaza Ntshanga are preparing for their big day.
Zahara has always been shy to talk about her love life. She hinted earlier this year that she will not reveal who she is engaged to.
But speaking this week, Zahara spilled all the details about her upcoming wedding.
“Now that he has paid lobola, I’m free to talk,” she said.
Zahara said that she was hoping to have a small wedding before the end of the year, but her family insisted on a big celebration.
So, the couple have decided to postpone their nuptials to the first quarter of next year.
“I think I will have my bridal shower in February, the month of love, and the white wedding will come later at home in Phumulani,” she said.
She added that she would love to have Ringo Madlingozi, Vusi Nova and Mafikizolo’s Nhlanhla Nciza perform at her ceremony.
But more than anything, Zahara is excited to walk down the aisle.
“I’m very excited. It’s every girl’s dream to get married, especially when they are happy with the person they love and he fears God,” she said.
Zahara and Amaza’s relationship made headlines in 2015, when it was rumoured that the pair had broken up. Zahara later denied this in a post on her Facebook page.
In June, the star revealed that the couple had got engaged and that lobola negotiations had been completed.
“Yes, I’m engaged to Amaza and the lobola negotiations are done. I’m so excited about this. I will only reveal the date of the wedding when the time is right,” Zahara said at the time.
