The family of South African songstress Zahara has opened up about her health after reports emerged stating that she has been hospitalized.

In a statement shared on her Instagram account, Zahara’s family and team revealed that the Loliwe hitmaker has been hospitalized for a week after complaining of physical pain.
They said the doctors are working very hard to ensure that she recovers speedily.
“For your kindness and concern and because we know you love Zahara, we wanted to give you an update on our daughter’s health.
Zahara has been admitted to the hospital for a week following complaints about physical pains. The doctors are working diligently and we await further updates from them,” reads the statement.
Her family stated that reliable updates regarding Zahara’s health will be communicated on her social media platforms.
“We want to stress that any reliable information regarding Zahara’s health will be communicated via her official social media platforms or by herself,” the statement read.
The family went on to request for privacy concerning Zahara’s situation and kindly urged her fans to continue praying for her swift recovery.
“In the meantime, we are asking for privacy on this matter and your continued prayers for the speedy recovery of our beloved Zahara. We trust that she will be back on the road soon, doing what she loves and what we all love her for, healing people through her powerful gift and love of music,” reads the statement.
