Mpumalanga police are reportedly on the hunt for controversial dancer Zodwa Wabantu over an alleged attack on a social media influencer.

The altercation reportedly took place last weekend at KwaKhehla tavern in Delmas, where witnesses claim Zodwa attacked Tebogo Makgoba, known online as Afrodolllight, leaving her shaken and injured.

What Happened?

Afrodolllight spoke out about the incident on her Instagram page, sharing her distress and detailing the damage:

I was attacked by @zodwalibram in Delmas for what, I don’t know. I’m so traumatised. She broke my braces and cell phone. I’m so defeated. Zodwa is too old guys

Police Hunt for Zodwa Wabantu After Attack On Social Media

Inside source told TshisaLIVE that authorities in Mpumalanga are actively searching for Zodwa, who is allegedly avoiding police contact.

Members of SAPS are on a hunt to for her and she’s on the run,” the source claimed, further fueling speculation about the ongoing investigation.

Police spokesperson Capt. Makhosini Nkosi confirmed that a case of assault and malicious damage to property has been registered, though he refrained from naming Zodwa as the suspect.

We [are] investigating the matter, and we can’t name the suspect as they haven’t been arrested,” Nkosi stated.

Attempts to reach Zodwa for her side of the story were unsuccessful, as her phone went unanswered.
