The luxury vehicle, which Skomota had proudly shown off on social media just weeks earlier, was seen being towed away. Though some had speculated about who truly owned the car, many believed it was his after noticing it was branded with his name and face.
A video capturing the Mercedes-Benz being towed by a Mashilela Towing truck was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @KingMntungwa, with the caption, “Skomota’s car is gone.😢💔”. Efforts to establish why the car was towed at the time of writing, had not been successful.
