DJ Black Coffee Wins Court Battle To Fund Enhle Mbali’s Lifestyle

Model, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has lost her court bid to compel her former husband, DJ Black Coffee, to fork out millions of rand in legal fees, spousal and child maintenance.

According to Briefly, Enhle Mbali-Mlotshwa’s application was dismissed with costs by the Johannesburg High Court. The judge handling the media personality’s case cited:

“Your demands are not substantiated and not reasonable.”

In her petition, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa had said that her ex-husband; DJ Black Coffee must pay her more than R131,000 in monthly maintenance.

This included: R80,000 child maintenance for their two minor children, R30,000 for groceries and household items and R17,800 for her beauty cosmetics.

She also apparently demanded that her internationally renowned former husband; DJ Black Coffee pays for her medical bills, as she had allegedly suffered depression due to the stress he’d caused her, relating to their highly publicised divorce.

Mbali-Mlothswa apparently feels that she’s deserving of the R131, 000 monthly maintenance as she was used to the lavish lifestyle of luxury cars, holidays and high taste in fashion.

She was married to him for four years and she knows that DJ Black Coffee can afford this, as he previously earned R100-million per annum as an international DJ.

The couple who parted ways in 2019 after four years of marriage have been in the headlines for months with recent reports stating that DJ Black Coffee has apparently moved on with fashionista; Sara Langa.

The court ruling was apparently made on Wednesday, where the judge dismissed Mbali-Mlotshwa’s application for her R131, 000 application.

The judge has instead ordered that the Mbali only get R15,000 a month for spousal maintenance and R50,000 in child support, which totals to R65, 000 instead.
