SA Idols finalists Zama & Brandon confirm dating rumours

Last year’s SA Idols finalist, Brandon Dhludhlu has confirmed that he and SA Idols winner Zama Khumalo are now official.
Prior to last year’s finale, speculations were rife that the pair were more than just friends this came after his elimination for the ultimate price, afterwards in an emotional speech he urged his fans to vote for Zama that’s when speculations became rife that the two were an item but neither had confirmed it.
However, Brandon divulged the scoop to a local tabloid, Sowetan,
“we are dating and we started dating in theatre a week before the show even started playing on TV. It’s been months now but people will think we started to date just now. However, it was so scary to be in the competition with her because I was so scared of her because she was one of the strongest contestants in season 16, but I love her. So we spoke about the fact that it’s a competition and we are not going to let it get in the way of our relationship.”
Last year’s SA Idols winner saw her walking away with a million Randd, Samsung products valued at R150 000 as well as the new Toyota Starlet 1.4. XR Manual.
In addition, she also inked a a recording deal with Oskido’s independent stable KalawaKalawa Jazmee.
DJ Zinhle, Busiswa, Cassper Nyovest, Vusi Nova, Kamo Mphela, Jazzidisciples, The Mzansi Gay Choir, Master KG, Ami Faku and Nomcebo Zikode also delivered performances during the live broadcast at State Theatre in the Pretoria CBD.
The top 10 contestants ZanoThando, Succedor, Mr Music, Zama, Ntokozo, Bongi, Jooma and Ndoni reunited on stage during the grand finale for a spectacular rendition of Paloma Faith’s Warrior. The finale received over 29 million votes setting an all time record.
