SA Influencer Mihlali Ndamase Catches Smoke For Reaching Out To Quavo Following Takeoff’s Death
South African socialite and beauty influencer Mihlali Ndamase has courted the ire of social media after she reached out to American rapper Quavo following Takeoff’s tragic death.
As the world was mourning the sad untimely death of Migos rapper Takeoff who was shot dead, Mihlali Ndamase decided to reach out to his ‘brother’ and Migos group member Quavo.

Taking to Instagram, Mihlali Ndamase messaged Quavo. She referred to him as her friend as she asked him if he was doing okay.
She went on to screenshot the message and posted it on her Instagram stories.

Mihlali Ndamase’s efforts to supposedly reach out to Quavo attracted backlash from social media users as they accused her of being a clout chaser.
South Africans called her out saying that what she did was purely insensitive and shameless. They argued that she suffers from main character syndrome.
Netizens questioned why she would refer to someone she doesn’t know in real life as “chomi” (friend) and then proceed to ask if “uright” (if he is alright) when she knows that he is going through a difficult situation right.
