Mother of Two Shot and Killed in Waterloo Shooting
A 34-year-old woman was tragically shot and killed at her Masenna Road home in Waterloo, KwaZulu-Natal, on Friday afternoon.
Emergency responders from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene around 16h03 and found the woman lying at the back of her property with gunshot injuries to the face and shoulder. She was declared dead at the scene.
Her two children, aged 17 and 13, reportedly heard a loud bang just moments before discovering their mother in a pool of blood. The horrifying moment has left the family and neighbours shaken.

Motive Still Unknown
Police have not yet determined why the woman was targeted. Investigations are underway as authorities seek to uncover what led to the fatal attack.
