Social Media Praise for Khumalo’s Mature Approach

Following her tribute to Mbongeni Ngema, Leleti Khumalo was praised on social media for being mature. Below are some of the comments:

Ma Khumalo let all the feminist fight the whole and released a statement… What a Queen
I know she’s a better human being than me cos I would’ve mized or send out something like “Good Riddance to bad rubbish”.
She just paid her respects to Mbongeni Ngema, the playwright, actor and composer, not respects to him as a person, former husband, friend or what what. Very professional of her.
Such a classy way to say “good riddance to bad rubbish”. Admire her work👀😉the lack of warmth is telling. And that’s how you clear.
You have so much grace ! Much respect! Condolences to the Ngema family

Khumalo survived domestic violence at the hands of Ngema. In an interview with News24, claimed to be a “rehabilitated” man and had taken on the fight against gender-based violence as a reformed abuser.
