The pregnancy was unplanned, and Skolopad was startled when she found out that she was with a child:

“I kept on having a headache that wouldn’t stop. So, I finally went to the doctor, and they told me I was pregnant. I was so happy when I saw his little head and body. I wasn’t expecting to be a mum at this age. I’m now a gogo. I’m turning 40 this year. My daughter is also very old.”

The singer and dancer has not yet revealed the name of her baby. When she was pregnant, she asked her social media followers to help come up with one:

“I asked people on my social media to share names they think are beautiful. I’m not sure what I want to name him, so I’m hoping people can help.”
