Heartbreak For Davido As Son Ifeanyi Adeleke Dies
Nigerian musician, Davido’s son Ifeanyi Adeleke, has died, according to multiple reports by Nigerian media outlets.
Three-year-old Ifeanyi is Davido’s son with his fiance, Chioma Rowland. He turned three on 20 October.
Details of the circumstances surrounding Ifeanyi’s death are still sketchy. Still, unconfirmed reports allege that Davido’s son drowned in a swimming pool at his mansion in the Banana Island area in Lagos on 31 October at night.

Davido’s son was allegedly underwater for a long time before being spotted and rushed to a hospital.
Davido and his fiance Chioma have yet to confirm their child’s death.
Several Nigerian celebrities have posted cryptic messages that appear to confirm the death of Davido’s son Ifeanyi. Some of these are comedians Ayo Makun and Lasisi Elenu and radio personality Daddy Freeze.

Makun, in an Instagram post early Tuesday, wrote:
“The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic. This hit me so bad.”
Daddy Freeze, who went live on Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday morning, said:
“When the person you love is someone involved, it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me. I will not be live tonight.”
Nigerian award-winning journalist Eniola Daniel with the publication Guardian Nigeria wrote:
“It is well with David Adeleke and Chioma Rowland. Davido has No hand in the death of people around him. It just happened. Many families are witnessing the same, but you don’t know because they are not celebrities. Be kind. #Davido and #Chioma will overcome, have Ifeanyis.”
