Songbird, Kelly Khumalo who recently took to social media to show off her solo birthday celebration on the same day of Senzo Mewiza’s tombstone unveiling is apparently older than she claims to be.
The songbird who claims she is born on the 11th of November 1984 and just turned 36 a few days ago is allegedly in an age cheating scandal.
The mother of two and talented musician whose been under a lot of fire from the public, recently seemed chilled in her birthday celebration video, which she shared with her followers on Instagram.
She shared a gorgeous video of herself celebrating the special occasion solo, in what looked like a very chilled session. In the video, the singer was sipping on some bubbly and enjoying some Mother Nature with a wide smile and looking genuinely happy.
According to media outlets, Kelly Khumalo is in a legal battle with Nedbank because she failed to pay her car instalments. The contract between the singer and the bank revealed Kelly Khumalo’s real age.
According to the court papers and sale agreement filed by Nedbank’s legal representative in Johannesburg High Court for an order to repossess her luxury vehicle; Porsche.
Kelly Khumalo was born on the 11th of November 1982 and not the 11th of November 1984 as she claims. She signed the contract with the bank three years ago (2017).
This means that the mother of two turned 38 years last week. This revelation perplexed her fans on social media as her Instagram posts suggested that the singer turned 35 last year.
The reality star apparently edited her age in 2005 after realising that her single “Qinisela” was a hit and began claims that she was born in 1984. She apparently wanted to appeal to a younger audience and not sell herself as an older singer.
