Meet Makhadzi’s Former Manager Who Deleted Her Music Videos From YouTube

Rita Dee, Makhadzi’s former manager is the latest trend after she allegedly deleted the latter’s music videos from YouTube, not paying her royalties and stealing her money.

As usual, Mzansi loves its celebrities and they are on their side in most cases, Mzansi started the hashtag #RitaDeeMustFall after Makhadzi revealed that she has not been paid for her previous albums.

This isn’t the first time that the former manager and the Venda artist made headlines.  Late last year media outlets reported that Makhadzi and her former manager; Rita Dee were feuding after Makhadzi’s announced on her Instagram that she was leaving Rita Dee Entertainment, over abuse that went on for four years.

Fans of the artist were shocked at first and thought that its fake news doing the rounds on social media. But once it was apparent that the post was on Makhadzi’s original Instagram account, people started sympathising and empathising with Makhadzi.

Rita Dee never responded to Makhadzi’s allegations then and she hasn’t replied to allegations now.  Makhadzi is apparently not the only artist that Rita Dee is ill-treating.

Makhadzi previously posted:

“I am ready to leave everything that belongs to my Management Company and go. I have realised that my happiness comes first. Since 2014 [I have been] acting like I am happy with my management just to protect my relationship with my fans [to avoid a situation where people will think that] I always change management.”

She Tweeted yesterday:

“The only thing I did was to ask my ex-manager for my money for my previous album matorokisi, and money for my royalties. What she did was claim my money and delete all videos from Youtube, including riyavenda 10millionviews and matrokisi 8millionviews, I didn’t get a cent from my album.”

“Since I asked her to claim money from iTunes, she said they were not working because of lockdown. Now, everything is back to normal, she’s not answering my calls and blocked my numbers. I don’t even know how much I did from my albums. I’m surviving on shows.”

“I want my money, I paid my Picanto car, she doesn’t want to change ownership names. If I can die tomorrow, everything will be under her name, meaning I was born to be a slave. I am tired.”

The artist has since gotten a major break and will be getting assistance from a lawyer who has assisted several celebrities in the past.
