Moja Love Clarifies Fate of Sizok’thola After Firing Xolani Khumalo
Moja Love TV has cleared the air concerning the fate of Sizok’thola after firing the presenter of the show Xolani Khumalo.
The channel clarified whether they had also cancelled the popular show after terminating their contract with Khumalo.

Sizok’thola is one of South Africa’s most loved shows as it helps fight the scourge of drug abuse by ridding communities of drug peddlers. On Friday, social media users frowned upon Moja Love TV’s announcement that they had parted ways with Xolani Khumalo. There were calls for South Africans to boycott the channel until it reversed its decision.

Moja Love TV Clarifies The Fate of Sizok’thola
Speculation was also rife that Moja Love TV had cancelled Sizok’thola after firing Xolani Khumalo. The channel stepped forward to address these concerns. They explained that the show has been temporarily paused while they iron out a few issues. Moja Love TV revealed that from now on, they want to work hand in glove with law enforcement and ensure that drug dealers face consequences for their actions. An agreement with the South African Police Service (SAPS) is in the works to facilitate this cooperation.
“MOJA LOVE remains steadfast in wanting to create content like Sizok’thola in order to rid our society of drug dealers roaming the streets and killing the future of our country. The channel is in the process of signing a memorandum of agreement with the South African Police Service (SAPS) following our meeting. This is to ensure that the drug lords and dealers are removed from the streets and go behind bars and everything is done side by side with law enforcement,” reads the statement.

Reasons Why Xolani Khumalo Was Fired
In a separate statement, the channel also clarified why it showed Xolani the exit door. Moja Love said they parted ways with Khumalo because of his unlawful conduct while filming the show. Part of the statement reads:
The channel elected not to continue with Mr Khumalo after raising concerns and questioning him about his knowledge and involvement in the unlawful incidents that led to the possible contamination of crime scenes, failed prosecution of known drug lords and unfortunate tragedies that followed the filming of certain episodes.
