Ntsiki Mazwai Accuses Dj Zinhle of ‘Exploiting’ Her Daughter Kairo After AKA Tribute Concert
DJ Zinhle has found herself under the spotlight of controversy after allowing her daughter, Kairo Forbes, to perform on stage at the recent 947 Joburg Day event, which paid tribute to the late father, AKA.
This decision has sparked criticism from Ntsiki Mazwai and others who accused Dj Zinhle of exploiting her daughter for personal gain.

Controversial poet Ntsiki Mazwai, took to X to voice her concerns about DJ Zinhle’s decision to have Kairo perform at the concert.

“I don’t mean to be harsh, but Kairo is not the first or last child to lose an artist parent,” Ntsiki posted
“But she is the first to be used for PR to capitalize. It’s so sad.”
Ntsiki continued her criticism by stating,
“A lot of artists have children…their children don’t belong on stage,” she emphasized
She emphasized the importance of protecting children from the spotlight during private and emotional times.

Ntsiki Mazwai’s critique wasn’t isolated, as other X users shared similar sentiments. Gender-based violence NGO Women For Change also claimed that DJ Zinhle was using her daughter for content rather than allowing her to mourn in peace.
